Biography

Dr. Ronald Rendell received a PhD in physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara (1980).  Following a postdoctoral position at NIST, Gaithersburg, MD (formerly NBS), he was a research physicist at the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC.  Dr. Rendell has worked on theory in research projects in the areas of relaxations and transport in complex material systems, the physics of nanostructures and metamaterials, and quantum information.  He is currently working on the quantum measurement problem.
